About the area

College Services provides high-quality academic administration and technical support to UWA’s Schools, enabling teaching and research excellence. The Schools Operations team delivers professional administrative and operational support to academic staff, students, and leadership. Within this environment, the School of Dentistry is a dynamic and collaborative setting focused on delivering high-quality education and research outcomes in oral health.

About the opportunity

  • Provide senior administrative and operational support to the School of Dentistry and School of Biomedical Sciences ensuring efficient delivery of academic programs and services.
  • Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of office systems, policies and procedures.
  • Support key governance functions, including School committees, and contribute to planning, resource coordination and special projects.

About you

  • Substantial experience in a senior administrative role, ideally within a university or large, complex organisation.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to set priorities, manage competing demands and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports and briefing materials.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex issues, exercise sound judgement and deliver effective solutions.
  • A collaborative approach with a strong commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
