Dental Clinic Assistant Level 3 (523108) & Dental Clinic Assistant Level 4 (524031)

  • Work in a state-of-the-art clinical and teaching environment with exposure to diverse dental cases.
  • Be part of a supportive team that contributes to the development of future dental professionals.
  • Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
  • Level 3 Base salary range: $69,666 – $77,167 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
  • Level 4 Base salary range: $80,293 - $85,291 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

The Oral Health Centre is part of the UWA Dental School delivering general and specialist treatment to eligible patients from the Department of Health and providing suitable patients to the dental student’s programme.

The Oral Health Centre of Western Australia is a collaborative Centre and the primary focus for oral health education, research and specialist care delivery in Western Australia. The Centre will treat approximately 14,000 patients per annum and deliver several clinical and technical training programmes.

About you

  • Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or equivalent) with practical chairside experience.
  • Strong understanding of infection control, sterilisation, and clinical procedures.
  • Experience in reception or administrative support within a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused, culturally aware approach.
  • Well-organised with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
