About the area

The Directorate of Student Success and Progression sits within the UWA Education Portfolio, overseen by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Education and Student Experience. Student Success and Progression plays an integral role in the shared strategic goal of providing a world-class student experience.

The Directorate has responsibility for critical across the student lifecycle, including Admissions, Enrolments, Fees, Scholarships, Timetabling, Student Advising, Exams and Graduation. Working across the University, the Directorate partners with academic and professional leaders to deliver integrated, student-centred services that support academic success, retention, and progression. A key function within Student Success and progression is the Student Administration Team, who deliver core administrative functions, directly or in partnership with teams across the University at all stages of the student journey specifically, Fees & Enrolment, Scholarships, Partnership and Transnational Programs, Timetabling and Exams, Progression & Graduation.

About the opportunity

  • Provide senior administration, strategic oversight and specialist support for Transnational Education Programs, ensuring consistent, high-quality student services and outcomes.
  • Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of student administration processes, systems, policies and procedures across the student success and progression lifecycle.
  • Partner with Third-Party Providers, students and university stakeholders to deliver expert advice, resolve complex issues, maintain compliance and support new programme development.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Extensive senior administrative experience at an appropriate level.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience with the administration of courses that involve external Partners or third parties.
  • Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional student experience and customer service.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures for the administration of personnel, financial and student activities.
