- Full-time appointment on a fixed term basis for 1 year.
- Base salary range: Level B, $118,150 – $139,812 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

The UWA School of Social Sciences is a vibrant hub of interdisciplinary research and teaching, spanning disciplines such as geography, anthropology, sociology, and political science.
The Future Regions Lab sits within the UWA School of Social Sciences, with a research focus on contemporary challenges related to regional development, sustainability, and innovation. It brings together researchers and stakeholders to co-design solutions for thriving regional futures.
WAterways Western Australia is a new initiative situated within the UWA School of Social Science’s Future Regions Lab, supported by the Feilman Foundation. WAterways aim to create a legacy of thriving Western Australian waterways by bringing communities together to address key water management issues. Through a shared journey of projects, events and initiatives, WAterways aim to increase knowledge, collaboration, and commitment to a sustainable future. Strengthening water literacy and stewardship among young people is a key focus of this Program.
About the opportunity
- Design engaging micro-credentials for Year 11–12 students on water-related topics, aligned with WA curriculum standards.
- Collaborate with experts and stakeholders to develop interactive content using Blackboard Ultra.
- Support delivery and evaluation, including testing, refinement, reporting, and training.
About you 
- Relevant tertiary qualification in education, or a related field.
- Demonstrated university or senior secondary (Years 11-12) teaching experience.
- Demonstrated experience in WA secondary education curriculum development.
- Demonstrated experience in developing online, curriculum-aligned teaching materials.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms (Blackboard Ultra preferred).
Note: A current Working with Children Check, and “C” class driver’s licence will be required by the successful applicant.
