This role sits at the centre of two portfolios that shape the experience of working, learning, and thriving at UWA. Supporting both People and Culture and Campus Management, you will work closely with leaders who influence how we care for our people and how we design, manage, and sustain our physical environment. People and Culture leads the University’s efforts to make UWA a remarkable place to work. The team focuses on attracting and retaining world-class talent, building leadership and capability, supporting staff wellbeing and engagement, and enabling people to do their best work across the institution.

Campus Management plans, develops, and manages UWA’s campus and property portfolio. The team delivers a wide range of services that ensure the University’s spaces are safe, sustainable, welcoming, and conducive to high-quality teaching, research and campus life.

About the opportunity

  • In this dual-portfolio role, you will provide high level, confidential and trusted executive support to the Chief People and Culture Officer and the Director, Campus Management, ensuring both offices operate smoothly, professionally and with care.
  • You will take a lead role in coordinating and refining office systems, processes, and practices, helping to create an organised, efficient, and supportive environment for staff, stakeholders, and visitors.
  • Adaptive, proactive, and relationship-focused, you will support both senior leaders in progressing key deliverables, managing priorities and timelines and advancing their strategic and operational objectives.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or an equivalent combination of experience and capability.
  • Significant experience providing executive support in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High levels of accuracy, discretion, and sound judgement, with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing professional correspondence, reports, and presentations.

Special Requirements:

  • A Police Clearance Certificate will be conducted.
  • A valid WWC card or prepared to obtain one.
