Finance plays a key role in supporting the University’s mission by delivering high‑quality, flexible and responsive financial management and advisory services. The team operates within the University’s professional service delivery model, providing efficient, end‑to‑end corporate financial services through functionally aligned Service Delivery Centres.
About the opportunity
- Support the accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable functions, including credit card acquittals, journal entries and financial data management.
- Contribute to the preparation and reconciliation of financial reports, helping maintain accurate financial records and account classifications.
- Work collaboratively within the Financial Compliance & Business Services team, sharing knowledge and supporting continuous improvement in financial processes.
About you
- You bring sound knowledge of financial accounting practices, supported by relevant experience in Accounts Payable or an accounting environment.
- You demonstrate strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks and maintain accuracy.
- Your communication and interpersonal skills enable you to deliver excellent customer service and respond effectively to internal enquiries.
- You are proficient in core computer applications, including spreadsheets, databases and financial systems (PeopleSoft experience highly regarded).
- You thrive both independently and within a team, showing initiative and contributing positively to team goals.
